Food Program

For young children, eating healthy is just as important as learning to speak.  Building Blocks Childcare Center participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).  The CACFP provides reimbursement for nutritious meals and snacks served to children enrolled in the daycare.  The food program ensures that young children in childcare get meals that are nutritionally superior and have fewer servings of fats and sweets.  Being enrolled in the program Building Blocks Childcare Center gets nutritional education and financial reimbursements for preparing and serving healthy meals.  As a parent, you can be assured that your child is eating well when away from home which is important for growth and optimal development.
